Well, here it is Friday at last! I don't even know where to begin. The family has had such a roller coaster ride of who feels good, who feels bad, who is sick, who is not for the moment. I am sick of "sicknesses"! It's been about 3 weeks now. I am ready for some "feel-good" time. I gave in and called my doc Tues. late afternoon and the girl said that my report said "normal". Now what ever that means, it has to be good, she just wasn't thorough enough for me. I see the doc Monday. Hopefully, he will be able to tell me whats going on. There has to be an explanation to my tummy troubles. I wonder sometimes, it's so frustrating!!!
Well, the teenagers are going to football games so that leaves Danny & I without a sitter so we are spending the "date" evening on the couch. Kids early to bed. Dinner & movie alone. Sounds good! TGIF!!! :)
I called the doctors office yesterday and they said that they will call if anything is abnormal. If test is good I will not hear from them until my next appt. on Nov. 12. So I am patiently waiting for the phone not to ring, but would like to know whats goin on! I hate waiting!!!:( Cold wise I am feeling a bit better today. PTL!
Ct Scan is done! It went well, I was a little nervous, and almost got pass-out sick feeling, but came out ok. It was nice having my little pregnant friend accompany me to my appointment & then to lunch. Thank you so very much!!! If I don't hear something Monday I will call my Doc. Results should be in a couple of days they said. On top of this, sickness has been circling through the family and now I feel yucky! :(
Many of you know that I have been having some tummy troubles. My doctor is trying to get to the bottom of the problem. So I have been having a series of tests done. At my doctors appt. Monday I got the results of the very latest test which said that my liver is enlarged which I went and did a new & different blood panel yesterday which will tell of any abnormalities, and the tract time it took the barium to travel from my esoufagous to the large intestine was faster than normal (don't know exactly what that means doctor was not concerned), but the doctor examined my tummy quite intensively and with all of my pain and symtoms he is leaning towards the possibility that I might have a hernia. It's in the area where they previously attempted my hysterectomy laproscopically and failed due to scar tissue and other things. So this Friday morning I have to have a catscan done on my tummy which will reveil everything in my tummy and we'll go from there. I will keep you posted...
Danny was at the coast on business last Thursday night so I taught youth group(AMP). I t went well PTL!!! Welcome to Rachel (Laura's friend)! We had Laura, Rachel, Justin, Dustan, Elijah, Serenity, & myself. Amber was at "Nutcracker" rehearsal. I must say I was a bit apprehensive because I had never taught this group before all alone, but I was wondering how I was going to deal with Elijah & Serenity when they would act up. Well, they were abnormally quiet and well behaved. Thankfully, Joel left a "Big" bag of Kisses in a very approachable place in his office especially if you are two. As you can see she was very happy & quiet. Elijah hung around & watched the dvd with the rest. The kids also foosed it up! I just hope I did the alarm ok when I left. Joel was gonna check the alarm & the thermostat. After we got home Dustan told me he set it to 45 to be funny. Youth Hah! :o
A "Happy #50 Birthday" was had by Jenni Ritter and all who attended! Thanks for letting us celebrate "you" with you it was fun! What a wonderful job to the party committee (Jamie)!
