A Happy Day To Give Thanks!!!

We spent the day at my folks house. My Grandma was also there. We had a wonderful dinner, watched movies, napped, and played outside, and even took time to smell the roses. Here are some of the pics I took. Enjoy! I neglected to get everyone, unfortunately. My intentions were to get a family shot for Christmas cards. Oh well, now I'll have to try again later and make it Christmasy.

Happy #5 Birthday to Elijah Mathias!

Notice a little frosting missing? Well, a little bird (Serenity Rose) got into the fridge and did a little taste testing and put her own touch to Amber's creation.

Dedication Day!

The "Harvest" Carnival

Since we don't Trick-or-treat, I took the kids to Amber's best friend Krystal's church for the "Harvest" Carnival. We've done this for several years now. The kids had a blast! They played games, rode a pony, ate dinner(and candy of course), and got to slide on bounce house slides, and pick a pumpkin.

Daddy's Smell

Danny left early yesterday morning to go to the coast for work. The kids are pretty used to it now that it's monthly. Danny called me to let me know that he arrived safely and Elijah wanted to talk to Daddy. So I let him talk and when he got off the phone he was sad, teary, & missing his Daddy. This was the first time he's gotten like this. It broke my heart, especially what he did next. I just watched him and he walked by Danny's desk grabbed Danny's jacket off the chair and inhaled a great big smell of the jacket and said with a smile " I love my Daddy's smell!"
I went over and smelled the jacket and sure enough it had Danny's smell all over it. His "Daddy", my "Love".
